I've always had a bit of a knack in the kitchen, and I definitely have some recipes that are killer. But most of those recipes are sugary foods, not really suitable for dinners. So this blog is my attempt to research, test, and report on new things I try in the kitchen. Focus will be in several areas: healthy foods, vegetarian/sustainable foods, and international dishes. I also really like "fancy" meats, as in meat outside the standard chicken, fish, pork, and cow. Hopefully I will get a chance to try my hand at cooking duck, quail, rabbit, scallops, bison, snails, and venison!
